Nick Life showed his class
and took 1st place
South Hams Motocross Club and Wheeldon along with local farmer Jason Hooper
hosted their 3rd Hare & Hounds Enduro this weekend. The weather held off
although the 5.2 mile course, with plenty of woodland and bog sections, was fairly wet making for challenging conditions.

In the Experts, Nick Life showed his championship level class with 1st place
and 14 laps, closely followed by Ross Blackmore and Chris Honeywell on 13 laps and Gary McCoy just behind on 12 laps.

In Clubman, MXer turned Enduro rider Tim Jellicoe showed his fitness levels with a 1st on 11 laps, with
only two minutes separating him from Mark Rayers and Richard Grills, also on
11. Sportsman class was won by John Glover on 9 laps, and in the Over 40s, local hero, Grandad (Greg) Veale stole the show, 2 laps ahead of his
competitors with 10 laps - well done!
Trying hard or what - this guy even had time to
"thumbs up" and grin at the photographer!
